What I’m going to end up going is get the Nappa leather and perforated leather steering wheel with the medium green stitching. For the stripe Mike from Redline suggested that he stitches a green outline of the stripe since they don’t have the medium green option for stripes which I really like. I think it’ll look cool and lowkey which I like. And if anything I could put that adhesive stripe between the outline if I ever want it. Please show the stitching when you get it so I can be sure the medium green is correct. Thanks!
Will do :fistbump:... Thats a great Idea to use the stitching to outline the center stripe. I may have to reach out to Mike before they start on mine.. :sunglasses:

I never liked stripes; they look cheap IMO. The stitching is a MUCH better idea, and much more elegant :D.

Should I get two lines of stitching on each side of the outline or just 1?

If I do it, I'll go with just one on each side so its a single center stripe.. But you should go with the option that puts the biggest :) on your face.

I’m just scared it’ll be too lowkey. So I might tell him to put two threads really close to each other on each side

I'd do a french seam on each side, which is basically what you're thinking :).

Yea that’s what I’m gonna do. Should I get the padding and thumb grips?

If it's going to be wrapped on top of the stock leather, I'd not do any padding. I'm like Gordon Murray; don't like fat steering wheels, even though I have large hands. The additional leather will be more than enough, probably qualifying it as fat already. However, I'd definitely do the thumb grips... if you trust they'll be done to OEM quality standards. And not too exaggerated.

Sounds good! Thanks for all the advice

They moved around the wires for some reason, does anyone know the correct way for them to be?

Can anyone recommend a wheel with a center stripe I could put that vinyl piece Bikeman315 recommended that just has black stitching. All the gt350 wheels I find only have red stitching and that wouldn’t match the interior.
Why not just put vinyl over the red stripe. Then you could put any color you want. A quality vinyl should stay put pretty well.

If you had the heated steering wheel does the new wheel have it? Finding one that keeps my heated wheel is holding me back from getting a new one.
