Curb bang! Front bumper clearance?

Ok...I know I over think most everything but knowing my new DIB ECO baby will be coming ....and me being an overprotective Dad...

Does any one know how much clearance the front bumper has to the ground?

I just hate it when driving my wife's Lexus 200h I forget how low the bumper is and it's "curb bang"...AND then ya have to back up...sucks.

I know...it's stupid and a mental thing..ya ...I can hear you guys now...just think dummy. Guilty...still...I'd love know so with some 2x4's and ductape, I can re-create the same tolerance on my SUV and I can practice "curb awareness"! :headbonk:

Wish it had a front camera for this reason...

If it's like the current Mustang the front splitter will clear most parking stops, but won't clear a deep curb. I often have my wife spot for me when I'm parking up to a curb.

If you lower the car you're hosed, but this is expected.

I wish there are no curbs. I've ripped off my front bumper cover few times on my old '95 Acura Legend Coupe... parking over the curb, loading the car with 4 people than backing out... still gives me a bad taste in my mouth every time I think about it

Ever since my S2000, I just never quite pull all the way up. Gotta be "aware" of how long your nose is though.

Yeah, my '09 was lowered and I had to learn that lesson the hard way. I beat the heck out of that poor splitter. :lol:

Wow, I had no idea. I want that side parking sensor bad.

If there is one thing I think many mustang owners have had issues with, its wheel rash, or maybe its just me:

1) '01 at Best Buy trying to get too close to curb to avoid door dings
2) '11 at shopping mall when woman almost hit me (1 black rim replaced)
3) '11 at local restaurant, minor (see #1 above)
4) '11 at local restaurant, minor (see #1 above)
5) '11 at Krogers, minor (see JC Whitneys for new curb feeler option ;))

My stock Brembo option wheels are pristine though. Must be the black ones at fault.
