Crooked Borla Mufflers

Hello all,
My Borla mufflers are crooked after installation. Called Borla and was sent a replacement set (took 2 months to get) with the exact same problem.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to correct it? I tried loosing things up to see if I could adjust, with no luck.

Ford Performance pipes are made by Borla and mine did the same thing. Loosening the clamp that holds the muffler to the mid pipe, turning the pipes and retightening the clamp helps. The issue is caused by a bent hanger, compare your hangers, crooked side to straight side and I’ll bet you notice a bend… straightening that completely fixed mine.

Thanks for the help. I Checked the hangers, no bends (See pictures). Even if I remove the hanger, I can't twist the muffler enough to correct the issue. I tried rotating the pipe after the xpipe, before the muffler and no luck.

Take it to an exhaust shop and have them adjust and tack weld the exhauat clamps in place. With the way axlebacks attach, a clamp is going to twist on you if doean’t have a little weld to stop it.

Had a muffler shop do the installation. They are the ones saying the mufflers are crooked.

I'm just going to remove and return them.

The shop that did the installation was twisting and turning the pipes in all directions. I was watching them. They couldn't correct the issue without cutting and re-welding the mufflers.

Just checking on here to see if anyone else encountered this.

I had a set of solo mufflers on my caprice and I installed myself and had the same look. I got a long bar and bent them straight . Like @dirtwarrior said, go to another shop if you can t fix that.

It can't be that hard to get them straight. It looks like the tips are parallel with the muffler so it has to be an install issue.

If I zoom in, It looks like the 90* bend coming out the back(front of car) of the mufflers may not be welded at the appropriate angle. Looks like it should be parallel to the tips and it looks like it is actually a little uphill instead

Ford Performance by Borla and I’ve never had a problem. Either the shop screwed it up or if they are self installed try again.

Have you looked under the car to make sure the passenger pipe is pretty symetrical to the drivers side?

I agree with what others have said, about going to another shop. When i had my resonator installed the muffler shop had mine crooked also. But after telling them they were able to tweak them and straighten them out. It was the hangers closest to the sway bar. They shortened them i think which pulled them up and even.

Thanks everyone, your suggestions helped!
The support brace that the Convertibles have was getting in the way. I had to slightly bend the hangers (up closer to the car) near the differential so I could rotate the pipe enough for the mufflers to straighten out.

End result..
