It's only a matter of time before we see a GT350 with stick-on fender vents.

I don't think it's a stick on, But Carbon Dynamics makes the fender vents for the non GT350 mustangs.

Didn't intend that comment toward Steeda. It's here, I just can't find it right now. Plastic press-on vent for the GT to make it seem like a GT350. Looks horrific.

Not really a fad. I was a kid in the 80's and it was my favorite cartoon. I'm a geek that loves cars, so robots and cars what's not to love.

I at least believe in being tasteful. Hate cheap emblems and stickers. These emblems are high quality. GM emblems from their transformer edition.

It's just me being me.

There has always been a certain segment of the Shelby crowd that can't seem to get enough badging. I gag when I see an engine bay festooned with $600 worth of billet reservoir caps and dipstick handles with the name Shelby emblazoned on them.

The border between classic and tacky doesn't have much to do with being a purist. It's about poorly executing something and thinking that it's great, or over doing it to the point that its a caricature of itself. Although its always about the freedom to do what makes you personally happy, it's also very interesting to see the lengths that people will go to create something so "great". We reserve the right to be able to shake out heads and wonder how it can get so cringe worthy.
