You might want to check your splitter to see if it was installed correctly. It doesn't appear to line up on the passenger side...

I know. I haven't had the time to adjust it. It's a replacement. My original splitter dropped, dragged and was tore off on the highway on my drive home from the dealership when I bought her. I didn't know about the splitter issue when I bought the car. I made sure all the screws were installed with the repair and I just wanted to get her out of there.

I know a friend of a friend who got hit in the rear and the cop wrote him up for tinted tails. His insurance refused to pay as his car was not "road legal". If his tails were not tinted, the woman who hit him would be 100% at fault. As it turned out he was 100% at fault and was fighting with his insurance company the last I heard. I'd avoid any mod that changes exterior lighting. Not worth the risk IMHO.
I'm paranoid about that too. I put tint on my backup light, and even at that I added a brighter bulb to help compensate. I've been behind ppl that have tinted tails, and some of them are so dark you can barely tell when they step on the brakes.

I think "cringe worthy" is a legit description when you can't find anyone who likes what you have done. There are always different tastes and some mods are more popular than others. The thing is, to set yourself apart from the crowd it involves a certain amount of risk and you either pull it off or you don't. When you hit a homerun you know it because you don't have to ask what ppl think, they will give you unsolicited compliments.

Thanks...here are some more pics of the striping I did. I love it. Gets lots of compliments. Most think it comes this way.
I like! Is that paint or adhesive/sticker?

I'd do the same. But with DIB, it'd be useless... sigh.

If the detailing lit-up at night, you could have a Tron car
I actually bought some yellow reflective striping but it's a lot wider so I don't know if I'll try it. Couldn't find it in 1/8" size.

Yes, 3M pin striping. Try red on the DIB. Saw pics of a DIB with red side mirror covers that looked sweet. The 2013 GT500s with red striping looked great. You could still do blue pin striping and I think it would look good, just won't pop. White would work too and would pop and match your stripes if you have stripes.

Okay, you put a lot of time and effort in the pin strips, but you don't have time to fix your 2nd splitter?? :frusty:
;)

not a fan of this thread, this is a bully thread basically.
If this was a high school forum... we'd all be suspended or even expelled!

Making your non-R GT350 look like an R. Sup with the dudes putting R wings on their regular GT350?
I have GT350 replica wheels and the Track Pack spoiler on my GT. I'm not trying to make my Mustang look like the GT350 (because it isn't nor ever will be one), I just love the way the rims and spoiler look. Fake badging is one thing, unlabeled body mods are another.

I don't like the way the R spoiler looks, but maybe the people buying them do?

I plan on putting an R wing on my 350. I've already seen a few gts with 350 style wheels. As long as your not putting the red R style badges on the a 350 who cares. Better than the stick on vented fender flares they're making for the non 350s
