Cracked frpp x pipe

I had a rattling coming from my exhaust system the past couple days. I thought it would have been maybe the cat converter issue most people with those noise has. Nope the exhaust shop looked and found a Crack on my xpipe after only being on around 2-3 months. Just a heads up for anyone having a rattling noise coming from ur exhaust

Love the sound, dislike the fit. If I had to do it again I'd 1) not do it, 2) take it to an exhaust shop for a more customized fit and have it welded in.

I am having the same issue. Did they cover it under warranty?

Honestly never tried to warranty it. Live and learn.

I have replaced 2 X Pipes on my 2015 PP. Borla has been kind enough to replace each time and told me I have a million mile warranty.

However, The cost of installing the new X Pipe is being taken care of by my dealer but I am concerned this will not be the case in the future.

The Borla rep stated that he has never had an X Pipe crack yet my car has cracked 2 in the exact same spot. He recommended that I ask the dealer to reflash my computer. Because it might be running too lean or rich. This sounds like houey to me but I'll ask them to check it out.

Has anyone else been having this problem?

they replaced an FRPP x pipe for me once, it was cracked and making a noise. the replacement looked a lot more robust and is identical to what is used on the borla atak catback.
