X pipe broke

My 2015 mustang GT PP was making a rattling noise so I took it to ford to have them look at it . The noise turned out to be a cracked X pipe on my ford racing Barlo exhaust . I am not sure how it cracked , is This comment with X pipe ? FYI It's the first mustang I have ever owned .

That looks like one really crappy weld. I would try to get a partial refund.

Many Ford Racing X pipe owners have reported the same issue. I have not read of any issues with the other brands.

Ford is ordering a new x-pipe for me at no costs , under warranty. I was just curious why it broke .

Weird. I've had zero issues with my X-Pipe.

mine cracked at the same spot. borla replaced it with a more robust looking xpipe that is identical to their non FRPP branded borla exhausts, like the s type and atak catbacks.
