I really like my ARH h pipe catback setup. It’s deep and rumbly with zero drone and then when you go over 4500-5k it starts this awesome scream. Sounds like a pissed off animal. I love the hollow bubbly sound foxes can have, but I like my coyote too.

ARH headers and full exhaust, catless, x pipe. Cross between old school muscle and exotic..

Gets so many compliments and attention

A lot of the deeper sounding exhausts get no justice because mics either blow them up or the lower tones are edited out.

you can get a deeper rumblier tone with this car but few do it without any drone or boom. But once you start revving high the engine gives it a certain timbre that is very high and tight no matter what.

Corse takes the rasy and timbre and tried to take the edge off of it. This is not the sound i like and when i hear the local corsa kid 3 blocks away revving it out all i can think of is how thin it is.

And although the 5.0 has a deeper sound than my 4.6, the 4.6 is louder and sounds better stock IMHO and i miss the burble when it lopes. Good thing the new owner lives in the same house so I can still hear it.

The solo performance mach xv has a good balance of deep rumble and screaming ferociousness based on the load on the engine. Its a great balance and a 'best of both'.

Disagree, imho, the AWE Touring sounds like a coyote is supposed to. We will all have to agree to disagree since everyone's ear is not the same...what does it matter...we're driving coyote based stangs!

Hope so, because that's what I'm currently planning to get at some point!

Am very happy with my Corsa Sport CB and planning to add Corsa catless headers. Would love to hear an AWE setup in person, though.

It's really depends on your taste, if you like more raspyness X-Pipe is the best if you want a more derivable sound with less drone a H-Pipe is probably for you. I never heard the Coyote sound like a Civic though that's a new one.

The correlation is the nasty ass tin can, rasp and cackle.
Regardless of exhaust choice, anyone who confuses the sound of a DOHC 32-valve V8 with a Civic should have their hearing checked.
