Wonderful blasphemy swapping an American V8 into a high-end German performance car. :headbang:

I love it! Even better if it's mid-engined: http://jalopnik.com/heres-what-its-like-driving-a-porsche-cayman-with-a-mus-1789732521
Considering SBF, 2JZ and LS swaps are very popular with BMW's, IMO if you're going to use a non BMW V8 the coyote is the best choice (provided it fits). When I first drove my mustang, it reminded me a lot of my friends E39 M5, especially the engine characteristics (the E39 M5 has a 4.9L DOHC V8 with 397hp/368tq and I believe a 7200rpm redline). Its part of what sold me on buying a S550 in the first place.

I'd love to put a coyote in my old e23, but I can think of many reasons why that is a silly idea.
