Eco85 Thanks for making this thread. I want to do the same thing down the road when this 4cyn gave out. Did you document everything? parts list and what to lookout for? Also. did you find out if you can unlock the cap on the speedometer?

If the swap comes with the ecu, bcm and abs module then only the keys need programmed?

I'm gonna try and cross reference some of the harnesses. I don't really wanna take the whole interior out

There different part numbers ive looked at the harness when i had them laid out next to each other. There were a lot of things that were the same but the gt harness had a few pins that were in different spots , some wiring coloring was different as well as the gauge size mostly thru the dash. Ive said before i bet u could change just the underhood harness and reprogram the rest of the car and ill bet it would work but thats not how i did it and cant promise it will work. The wiring was easy !

Small update :
So the car has been running flawlessly . It came time to change the radiator to the gt rad but the eco condenser doesnt fit! So i have two solutions , 1. Get the gt condenser or 2. you can get an aftermarket thick core ecoboost rad and keep the stock eco condenser and cooling fans . Im going with option 1 since i already bought a gt radiator and fans.

Does the remote start work as it did with your ecoboost engine? And what exhaust setup are you running with it?

Ok, so the ecoboost was manual when before you swapped it then? And after all was said and done, what was the exact amount of time you invested in the whole swap?
