For a non SE model, I think the GT PP will be the best performing Mustang ever. Not to mention, the best overall Mustang to roll down the assembly line.

I am beyond ecstatic about this new model. Cannot wait to get my car!!

Best ever? What yard stick? Units sold? No! Bang for the buck? No! Styling? No! Comfort? Should be! Handling? Should be! Safety? Should be! Favorite? I sure hope so!

Thanks for great question to ponder,

It will be to me!I live my life a Mustang at a time. For those few sunny days before the winter, nothing else matters. Not the camaros and their bullshit. For those last few days or less , I'm free.

Lol just felt like writing that .

i personally think the styling is phenomenal, and, yes, best ever.

I also personally think that the weight to HP per dollar gives it very high marks in the "Bang for the buck" category.

that is the lovely thing about such subjective topics! :)

I'm willing to trade the straight line power of my GT500 for a more complete package. Can't wait to see how this car stacks up to the Mustangs before it.

It will be for me, I fell in love with the mustang at age 3, this will be my first. First one I ever saw was a 65 Honey Gold. I paid my F 150 off 2 years early just so I could by a 15.

Well......like my article said, its now time to truly see how this all new car will do when its goes toe to toe with some of the big boys......BMW M4, Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type??

Personally I feel like for once it will compete!

This will be the goat Mustang...

I don't think it will be a goat/legend car of this generation, however. The only way it's pulling that title is if the block really does hold 1000hp plus or there is a ludicrous twin T V8 in the future.

The bar is set to high for a HALO models now and the GTs number came in under the radar for the GT to claim Goat status for an entry level performance model.

I think Goat status will be saved for the 5.0, if or when it get's DI. Although, a 5.2 FPC has the capability to steal the show if it is 150k+ miles reliable. IMO that is where the "Goat" status will really be. But only if it goes off without a hitch.
