The new Corvette is impressive for sure.
I'm not keen on the styling personally but it is a real shame that it never offered a manual. 😢
I agree...I am partial to the C7's myself as far as looks go.

Personally, I think the ERay is far more of an engineering feat, and more "special". But I also think the Z06 is more special too. So 🤷‍♂️...

It's certainly cool though, I'd gladly take one, sell it, and use it to fund a GTD!
Then just wait for the Zora. Best of both worlds

Love the car , hate the fact they are marketing it to have twin 76mm turbo’s with zero lag.
as far as I can tell it has a custom BW7670 with an all in one exhaust side housing.
BW name their turbos differently that everyone else and in common talk they are 57/61 size turbo’s running 24 psi peak.
how you get this

Getting what ?? Turbo size , no lag , boost number , or how BW size their turbos.

The very first video I watch a year ago stated 76mm turbo’s. my instant reaction was WTF. Ain’t no way For a OEM street car with emissions. so applying that logic , had to dig deeper.
also I read it peaked at 24 psi.
2 x 76mm turbo @ 24 psi is a lot more than 1000 Hp.

anyone who understands turbo’s knows a single 76mm turbo is good for 1200 to 1500hp. So running twins you would have your self a hell laggy Street Car that would make boost at 5000Rpm
like Brett lasalla’s 3000hp coyote.

so after digging and finding part numbers , they dont come up on BW inventory Unfortunately.
but matching impeller and turbine sizes , I soon found out it was a close match to the BW7670 as my previous post. ( with link) I assume they are using the same frame , with custom blades and with the full cast exhaust housing including runners. Which makes sense and perfect sizing for that engine.

That Cletus video has some good shots of them If you haven’t watched it yet.

if you watch the dash in the Cletus video you can see the boost peak at 24 psi through the mid range and it has a falling boost cure to 22 psi in the higher gears.
guessing to keep back pressure happy.

Why you like going slower?
Ronni Sox you most likely are not.
LOL because I want to have fun driving!
If I wanted to go fast, I certainly would not buy an automatic, I'd get an electric vehicle! EVs have all of the lackluster feeling of an automatic but way faster. 😂

For all of 45 seconds and the car goes limp home from the battery pack temp.

I'd love to have a manual, but my hip and knees said nope, to the nope nope nope.
Sucks getting old.lol

Not all electric vehicles are faster, not even all Tesla's are faster. And, they are faster than stock. A mustang can be made to go faster as the electric junk cannot!
