Playing with the idea of headers as the next mod? I know it would prob be ideal to have Corsa sport with LT for sound, but since i already have the Xtreme is this set up just too loud for daily driving? My neighbors i'm sure love my cold starts in the morning...i can imagine this would add to the the experience lol.

Would be interested in peoples experience who has it. Also as long as these have high flow cats it should not have a problem for passing emissions testing right?

Do you lose much performance by having a catted setup vs not...i dont really have an option but am interested.

From what i understand SW is a direct fit setup. Anyone else happy with other options.

It's going to be almost twice as loud on cold start once you remove the stock cats and add the long tubes. I wouldn't advise unless you add resonantors to the catback to tame the rasp and quiet it down some.

That exhaust will probably be pretty loud with LT headers. I feel sorry for your neighbors LOL. As far as emission testing, I'm not sure what your laws are in NC. Here in Jersey our rear O2 sensors have to remain active and be showing no codes. I'm going with the Kooks Green Catted headers. From what I've read and heard the cats on those are pretty efficient.

Thats kinda what i figured. Resonator is a good idea...just mulling the idea over.

I believe you need a tune with catted or non catted headers.
I believe part of that tune is to turn off the rear O2 sensors if i'm not mistaken

Rear o2's and COT protection. But the rear o2's help calibrate the front o2 sensors so turning them off is not a good idea.

It will be loud. But sounds great. We have our custom exclusive stainless works and power systems to make the corsa full 3, in stock

Thanks Beef, I'll keep you in mind!

What kind of gains do you expect from adding the LTs to the car. Seems like some people are adding LT and the GT350 IM and getting some pretty decent numbers.

20-35, depending on car / dyno

25-30 whp from just the long tubes especially if you have a GT350 intake manifold in the mix.

Nor have I. I'm 99.9% sure that is false on this car after having tuned mine myself. The front O2s have adjustments as to when closed loop happens and also for O2 transport delay due to front O2 being downstream farther with long tubes. The rear O2s are gone on my car and have been completely disabled in my tune since before I even got long tubes and deleted my cats and I've seen zero issues with my A/F and fuel trims.
