One reviewer said the cooled seats only cooled the bottom seat cushion and not the seat back. Can anyone confirm this? Are they really cooled bottom only?

It's both top and bottom. He was severely mistaken in his review. It's been confirmed several times in various threads here. Some by current 2015 owners.

I sat in one yesterday. It's supposed to be both top and bottom but I only really felt it on the bottom

It's more obvious in the seat bottom, but both the seat bottom and back are heated & cooled. As JoeDog said, it's been confirmed multiple times.

Next question.

I agree it has been confirmed by other owners. For those of you who sit in a car in the future and easy way to confirm this if you can't feel the back portion would be to turn on the heated seat first, let it get warm, then flip it to cold. Hopefully that should give you the difference.

Anyone know what they're using to actually provide a real coolness to it? I know people assumed before it was just a ventilating fan, seems that's not the case now.

I was in one today and only the seat bottoms were cooled. Seatback was definitely not cooling on the GT PP in Omaha. I questioned the salesman about it he said he was in the car for about 15 minutes and never noticed the seatback working as well. When I went on the test drive my ass was freezing but the seatback was hot either something was wrong or the cooling totally sucks on the seat back.

When we return to the dealership I got out of the car and held my hand on the seat back and all I felt was the heat from my back that was still in it feeling the seat definitely cold.

Well functioning seat back cooling is a must. This could be a deal breaker. :(

It was only in the mid 70s today but with the seat cold and the seatback hot is not good you would be better off just turning the cooling off altogether in my opinion.
