Ecoboost convertible perf pack.
This was not on mine. And because I asked the dealership not to wash it, they left all the plastic on. Maybe this is a clear vinyl label they always remove before convertibles leave the factory. I bet it is so somebody does not try to put a convertible trunk on a coupe!

Anyone else have this mystery sticker?

Very nice Tomlynpen...
But what are those big a$$ holes next to the horizontal part of the windscreen. You should get those covered up!!! [emoji38]
I can guarantee 100% this sticker is not meant to be removed. ..I'm from Quebec...can't it be a Canadian thing?

And how about this?
There should be black plastic retainers just like on the top edge of trunk. These hold the optional trunk net that fits against the back wall of trunk.
One at each corner, so four.

Pretty funny!!! Sounds like the verts are now being shipped with the caps. Maybe we'll get some before the end of summer.

JF,
Are you implying that Flat Rock thinks Canadians need a sticker to tell them a car is a convertible! :eyebulge: :D

Maybe it IS a Canadian thing, but I hope fore another reason, aye. ;)

Airflow and the convertible...

Months ago, I ran some aerodynamic airflow simulations for the 2015 hardtop and the convertible with the top up and down. The airflow over the convertible with the top up was nearly as smooth as the hardtop. The airflow over the convertible with the top down was nearly as smooth as with the top up, until about 60 mph. Faster than that, the airflow became turbulent and pulsations flowed forward from the backseat area.
When my own convertible arrived, I wanted to check the airflow. Even at freeway speeds, the soft top did not flutter at all. I then drove it with the top and windows down...there were moderate pulsations in the front seat area at speeds above 40 mph. I ran all four windows up...at 60 mph, there was a gentle breeze pulsing near my left leg, but nowhere else on my body. The pulsation was very slow and weak. There was almost no noticeable wind anywhere else. The air flow over the wide windshield frame was extremely smooth. I am 5 ft 9 inches and my hair was never mussed. However, the air flow a couple of inches higher was moving fast but still very smooth. A tall person would need to secure their cap. The CAD-CAM stylists really did a great job in designing very smooth air flow for the convertible.

+1 I was able to drive in 50 degree weather with only heated seats & heater in a t-shirt. The lady only needed heated seats and all she had on was a long sleeve shirt at night.

On sunny, but cold days, I would be roasting on the highway if I had the windows up and top down, even if the ambient temp was 50.

So the question is when are we getting ours??? After summer has passed... This pisses me off that they are neglecting customers who have bought the cars before this... And are giving these caps to people who are buying them now... I'm sooo pissed!
