Yes, I did get it from Ray Skillman, I flew there and drove it back. They deducted around $4500 on it from a $49.5kish price tag.

Doing about the same here with price. love the way they want to sell and not play games. Now I wish mine would be let go from Flat Rock, then again get rid of all this snow first.

Take care and enjoy! You have yourself a nice ride.

I am awaiting the delivery of my convertible, so I haven't been able to double-check the wind flow over the windshield with the top down. I have software in my lab that allows me to simulate the airflow over a digital version of the 2015 soft-top. The animations showed that the flow was quite smooth over the front passengers' heads until speeds reached above 60 mph. Then, there began 'blow'back' from the rear seats to the front. So I am expecting that if there is no cross-wind, I should be able to wear a hat at normal road speeds.
The simulations showed that with the top up, the convertible had a quite smooth flow over and behind the soft-top, almost as smooth as the hardtop coupe.
I've had mine since 1/27. 1,000 miles and only about 15 of them with the top up. Great AZ weather. No problem wearing even a brimmed hat at highway speeds even when there is a cross wind with the windows down. I'm considering getting a windscreen but haven't decided for sure.

"tomlynpen": I have been requesting convertible owners give their opinions on the quality control from Flat Rock. Some GT owners have complained about the fitment of panels and trunk. Convertibles have a different rear end design and factory jigs. Do you have any negative observations, now that you have had your car for a month and >1K miles?

I'm as fussy/critical as you can get for both fit/finish and NVH issues. I've been over the car with a fine tooth comb several times inside and out and it is perfect in every way. No squeaks, rattles or vibrations in any of the drive modes. Haven't had the top up enough to evaluate wind noise at highway speed. Can't wait for the weather in the high altitudes to warm up so I can take it on some winding mountain roads.

I'll second tomlynpen's comments - no issues whatsoever with top up or down - I'm also in AZ, so I've had plenty of time with both. About 2k miles, GT premium, and everything is perfect.

What did you get, tomlynpen?

Date in transit

Mako, Can you add the date it changed to 'In Transit'? Tks
the previous Cotus in transit date was 2-23 if I remember correctly.
Dealer confirmed on train 2-24.

Both Cotus sites now, say In transit and delivered 3/2.
I called my dealer on the way home 3/2 and then had not received it yet
I contacted ford service yesterday and they confirmed delivery was 3/2 but acknowledged that my dealers delivery location may be different than beir sales location.

I am hoping to be driving it very soon.

The high today is 75 and the sun is shining!

Drove home today with the top down. Love this FL weather.
Love the color combo. It's so rare to see a convertible 15' Mustang, I saw one on Monday and fell in love with the convertible.

Listed as 'Awaiting Shipment' 2/12, then 'In Transit' shown 2/23. Ouch, 11 days. Sir, not the kind of historical data I was lookin' for. ;)

I am really hoping my Cotus 3/2 'Awaiting Shipment' translates to shipping by Fri. 3/6. I can't wait to start looking for rail car tracking data. Does Rachel have that info (I hope), or just my dealer.

It's like the dog said when he got his tail caught in the lawn mower...
"It won't be long now!" :D

Windscreen research

I'm considering getting a windscreen but haven't decided for sure.
Please post back here (or even better a separate thread?) what you find when you do your research.

I have that windscreen on my current convertible. Even if it is not needed as much as many (most?) other convertibles, it still can add to lower wind noise for radio listening, talking to passenger and most likely improve hands free phone conversations. With 99% of your driving top down, it could be a plus.
