Straight from the owners manual page 224,

CHANGING A BULB
Lamp Assembly Condensation
Exterior lamps have vents to
accommodate normal changes in pressure.
Condensation can be a natural occurrence
of this design. When moist air enters the
lamp assembly through the vents, there is
a possibility that condensation can occur
in cold temperatures. When normal
condensation occurs, a thin film of mist
can form on the interior of the lens. The
mist eventually clears and exits through
the vents during normal operation. Clearing
time may take as long as 48 hours under
dry weather conditions.
Examples of acceptable condensation are:
• Thin mist without streaks, drip marks
or droplets.
• Fine mist that covers less than 50% of
the lens.
Examples of unacceptable moisture are:
• Water puddle inside the lamp.
• Large water droplets, drip marks or
streaks on the interior of the lens.
If any of the above conditions of
unacceptable moisture are present,
contact an authorized.

All lights will get a little condensation in humid or rainy environments. That little bit is supposed to go away with heat from lights, and may come back next rainy or humid day. If it's a puddle in there then it should be replaced by warranty. That's my understanding of it.

I posted pictures of my foglites this morning which they moved. I guess you aren't supposed to complain in the maiin forum.
I find it easier to locate problem and repair information when the posts like this are in the subforum that matches the topic :) I appreciate that you are sharing this on the forums. I hope it is addressed to your satisfaction.

Water collections and condensation IS NOT NORMAL

It is 2015 and you would expect for the $ people are forking out that these simple issues would not be there. However, in every manufacturing process, you will find some hiccups once product is put to the test in the real world. You need to warranty it and learn where it failed and fix for future customers.

Im sure it is 100% a warranty issue and it will be taken care of.
I'd imagine that the dealer will try to say that it wasn't like that when it came off the lot and the condensation is due to driver error. Took corners too hard and rattled the lightbult housing from its mountings.

Thanks for this, you just saved me a one hour trip back to my dealership. I was experiencing the same thing tonight with my headlights.

how can they do this? that is absurd to leave that in the design and know about it..

This situation is not specific just to this design. I've seen it on particularly humid days after heavy rains in a number of other cars I've owned. It's when it can't be vented properly that it becomes a problem (i.e., puddled moisture standing in the housing). In this case, a replacement part would be in order. That is what is described in the manual as posted.

Seems to me that the example shown by ActiveGT meets the criteria for "Unacceptable Moisture"!

Yep. Ya buy cheap, ya get cheap. My Corvette never did this. See what an extra $30k gets you?
So your cheep comment is pure BS, I've never owned a car that cost more than 45 grand and I have never had this problem! BTW, unless Chevy has changed their Corvette QC drastically, your car should become a rattle trap by the time it's 6 or seven years old... just an observation from many friends Vetts.
