Just a pity we can't change the button colours to match the ambient lighting, its light blue only :(

That was the first thing I noticed when I changed my colour... just why?! Ford have gone to the trouble of fitting RGB led's everywhere else so why not behind all the buttons as well?? crazy!

Personally I believe it's because these are on 'core' controls of the car, and not the ambiance of the car itself, cupholders, footwells, kickplates/scuffplates & door handles aren't directly part of the cars controls or functions, therefore the light blue distinguishes them from the rest.

Or it's Ford being plain lazy.

You're half right.

Its not to distinguish them but to keep them clear and visible. Shifting the colour may make them difficult to read, therefore taking your eyes off of the road for longer if you don't know where the button you want is by touch alone.

That was the point I was trying to make, however a heavily hungover Steve fails to articulate sentences very well!
