Whoever designed the pp wheels has never washed a car before.

Lol. It’s not really that hard. It take maybe ten minutes to do all 4. If i am washing my car anyways i don’t care as i enjoy it as it’s like wrenching on my car. It’s a zen type thing. Just get some microfibers and keep them only for the wheels and a dedicated bucket and fill with car soap. Then clean.

Definitely get a good mitt, you can really get into little crevasses around the tail lights and it makes it MUCH easier to clean PP wheels (the "mesh" style).

I use a second bucket and microfiber towel for the wheels...thinking I'm going to pick up little air compressor to blow water out of some of these crevices when drying

You think the pp wheels are bad? Try a 1991 Taurus with Basket weave wheels. You basically need to use a tooth brush for every bit.

Get some wheel whoolys (or equivalent).

But the appearance of the wheels (hope you sprung for the Silver painted version) is worth any extra work.
