Wow, that will make a very "throttle responsive" car.
And some 115 race gas would love the 12.5:1 with the RPM's it will run. 115 and some aggressive tuning could yield a nice power bump. I wouldn't want to be the first guy with a tuned 350!

Well I think all the bits and pieces are in place for a 600+hp motor. Ford will most likely use a very restrictive intake tube and air filter. Mufflers with be a issue too and the factory tune. The tuners will be all over this very incredible engine. We need the opinions of those who have done N/A builds of the Coyote.

I find it hard to believe that the 5.2 will only make just north of 520hp. 12.5:1 compression, better flowing heads when compared to the Boss, higher lift cams, flat plane crank and better exhaust scavenging, bigger bore for more cubes and valve unshrouding, better intake and larger valves. When I compare certain N/A builds of the Coyote to this motor, they make over 600hp at the fly wheel. This motor should make a good deal more hp then what has been hinted so far. Opinions?
Like I said above, higher octane fuel and tuning, but who wants to go first? LOL! You might see 50 WHP but only 5-10 WFT/LBS but really knows with the new engine?

Everyone should wait and see what happens. I think a Twin Turbo would be interesting but it may be a real screamer OEM from Ford.

Edit - Those 600HP N/A Coyotes are not cheap -big money machining everything to those tolerance and custom bearings, pistons, coatings, machining, etc, used by very few.

I agree, it should stand up to 600HP and maybe produce it with mods, but Ford has to warranty it and make it a daily driver, and keep Uncle Sam happy, so anything over 500HP should be sweet. I'm betting on weight of the basic GT350 being close to 3600lbs, and GT350R close to 3470lbs.
