If you need to transport anyone in the back, I would not recommend the GT350. It has no leg room for rear passengers. Maybe a 392 widebody with a manual trans or a hellcat.
why not a charger/challenger hellcat? has more room than the mustang or camaro for a family and more power than your scat.
The answer to all "why" questions.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Charger/Challenger. They are great cars but, let's be real, they're not a GT350. OP is looking for something different. I would say this qualifies.

I'm compact guy 5'6" and all members of my family are compact as well. There is no much room in the back seats. I consider this car 2 seater.

THAT shelby gt350..yes.

the new ones, not impressed. maybe OP will be.
but it still doesnt make it practical for a family, hence the recommendations from myself and others for something more roomy. the 7 year old daughter will only get taller.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I am not quite 6'3" and the GT350 is the first car that I don't have to put the seat all the way back to be comfortable. Kids would be just fine in the back seats.
I agree. At 6'-3" my seat is not all the way back. There is a ton of leg room in this car with the Recaro seats. Also, no issue with helmet clearance either for tall guys.

Hey guys, completely new Ford guy here...looking for some info on the 350GT. I was ready to get the ZL1, but a test drive with my family made that car impossible. My 7yo girl couldn't even put her feet down behind me. I currently have a '16 SCAT pack Charger, but looking for something sporty with more power and a 6MT.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello!
I'm 6'0 and the wife is 5'4. We all sat in a 21 GT and it was much more room than the Camaro. Also, what is up the Camaro trunk?? Such bad design overall for usefulness. Definitely realize the Charger is larger, but we have an SUV for long trips.
Is practicality your main concern? The Dodge Challenger I believe has more legroom in the back and the Hellcat comes with a 6MT. Mustang is definitely in the middle of the pack, and the Camaro being the least practical.

Can't really think of any car that would give you +480hp, 6 MT and back seats with some good legroom for the people in the back besides the Hellcat Challenger

The new CTS Blackwings got announced yesterday. Both come with a manual as a standard option, they might be worth looking into. I'm sure it will have decent legroom but they don't have two doors.

Yeah I feel bad for whoever has to sit behind me. Last time I went out I tried to put down the seats to increase the sound and I could only do the passenger side. There is no way any human is sitting behind me. I'm 6'2"/6'3" but have daddy long legs.

Practicality isn't a primary concern, but it's a concern...I like to have the family in the car every now and then. And the 3 cars...ZL1, GT350 and hellcat challenger are the only ones. Now the new caddy blackhawk will have one, but it will be over 100k.

Nobody from my family of 5 can ride with me in any of my cars that I own. Never mind GT350. When I tease my wife, asking her to ride with me in GT350, she looked at me like I'm Osama bin Laden.
