A thread like this keeps us coming back checking for updates.
Very talented.
Bump for updates.
The machine work is done on the block, and I will check all the clearance's this weekend. The heads are supposed to be done this coming up week. If so I will assemble the motor next weekend.

Why is it that every time someone does cams they never post up anything either they are too much fun ND they won't stop driving the car or they sick and are a huge waste of money.

I know! I'm thinking of doing cams since they'll be right there when I do my GT350 manifold, OPG, CS, and damper, but I'd like to get a little more feedback first. I don't really want to be the guinea pig, but I guess I will if I have to. If that's the case, I'll make sure to start a thread with my results. :)

Builds like this end up costing a fortune in money and time and often don't get completed due to life or finances getting in the way. I hope this is not the case here but since no updates in four months that is not a good sign.

I have my eye on the stage 3 cams, but I'm in the same boat as you guys. I'd like to see/hear some results, and with what other performance mods they already have.

Oh I know which is why I would never tackle this, I just really want to know the numbers these can produce and see some track times as well as the first 500rwhp s550. Not familiar of anyone doing that yet, maybe a shop but not a private indivudual.

Yeah, yeah, I know Beefy. But man, it'd be nice to at least have SOME kind of an idea of times or what additional horsepower it gives you. Tell ya what, if you GIVE me the cams, I'll do the dyno thing and report on here what my results were, and if they're good enough, I'll buy them. Wow, what a deal!!! (For me).:lol::lol:

It's still on going, just nothing new to report. I'm in Arizona and it's just too dam hot to pull the engine in the driveway. I've finished up a lot of the side jobs I had lined up, and last week I started working on the block again. I'm deburing all the casting flashand burrs off the inside of the block. This weekend I am going to mesure all the clearances measure the deck. Hopefully get the bottom end together.

I don't think mine would be a good example of a before and after on cams. I've changed toooooo many things for a fair comparison.
