Coil over installation. Question

Hey guys. Currently installing coilovers and have a question about doing the rear. I have the subframe lowered and the strut came out easily. However the spring doesn't seem like it's budging anytime soon. Anyway to get the subframe lower to get the rear spring out?

Also, are rear coilovers/springs side specific? There's no indication of left or right for the rear springs/ struts.
I'm installing bc coilovers if that matters. Thanks for the help!

Update, got the spring on the other side out. still struggling with the left side though

Okay never mind about getting the springs out, finally got it done. Still curious if rear springs are side specific though. I'm kind of having trouble getting everything seated properly at the moment. Any help is appreciated
