COBRA JET PROBLEM

Anyone know what this harness is for I recently put on the cobra jet on and couldn’t find what this harness is for, also been having a little idle problem where rpms will hold or very high as it may seem the throttle body will get stuck or I will lose power through my gas pedal

Ahhh gotcha yeah I have a 2018 gt so I’ll have to look into this
Do you have a 2018+ VMP twin jet 69mm tb? If so, then it’s programmed for the 18+ cars. Something is probably messed up in the throttle body. Have you seen any codes or data logged it for the tuner?

Also, the Gen3 TB are different from prior years in how they operate.

i sent over The data log to lund but he said he didn’t find anything out of the ordinary everything seemed okay it’s a twin jet vmp mono blade 69mm this specific time me after 6k rpms the car will go into limp mode the acceleration pedal isn’t as touchy and when putting into neutral the car will hold at rpms and won’t drop making it seem like the tb is stuck

i sent over The data log to lund but he said he didn’t find anything out of the ordinary everything seemed okay it’s a twin jet vmp mono blade 69mm this specific time me after 6k rpms the car will go into limp mode the acceleration pedal isn’t as touchy and when putting into neutral the car will hold at rpms and won’t drop making it seem like the tb is stuck

This is gonna sound so stupid, but check the clearance for the coolant hose that runs from the water neck you swap out to the over flow bottle. Is that touching the TB in any way? If so, extend that hose so it doesn’t touch the TB and then put some reflective heat shield on the TB electronics. My hose touched and caused the TB to go into limp mode.

This is gonna sound so stupid, but check the clearance for the coolant hose that runs from the water neck you swap out to the over flow bottle. Is that touching the TB in any way? If so, extend that hose so it doesn’t touch the TB and then put some reflective heat shield on the TB electronics. My hose touched and caused the TB to go into limp mode.
It does touch it’s a a tight squeeze but it fits but I’ll definitely take that in note and get a bigger hose

when u went into limp mode where u losing power in the gas pedal and we’re the rpms holding as well or what was your experience of limp mode ?

when u went into limp mode where u losing power in the gas pedal and we’re the rpms holding as well or what was your experience of limp mode ?
To be honest the car just freaked out and would only go like 10mph. It surged when it idled I think. Let your car run for 10-15mins just at idle and then see if the TB is super hot to the touch. My hose bent around the electronics part of the TB and would heat the whole thing up. Sounds a lot like the problem you’re having.
