Cobra Jet install done,help with breathers and PCV.

Since i’m running breathers i removed the check valve from the passenger side PCV.I heard from someone today that you should not remove the check valve. Any help with this will be appreciated .This cobra jet manifold and e85 is badass up top.

Exactly. Plus the stock PCV always allows some airflow at IDLE.

Venting to the atmosphere is 120 year old tech, and doesn't introduce fresh air into the crankcase.

In a PCV system, the crankcase gases are routed back into the engine's intake to be burned as part of the combustion process. This design allows for a constant flow of fresh air through the engine, which enters the crankcase through a breather or an oil filler cap. This fresh air helps flush out contaminants and moisture, providing better engine protection and reduced sludge buildup.

On the other hand, a VTA system vents the crankcase gases directly to the atmosphere without recycling them through the engine's intake. This means that no fresh air is drawn into the crankcase through the breather or oil filler cap, which can lead to less effective removal of contaminants and moisture.

Street car, OK.
Race car no way I want that crap in the combustion chamber.
Really don't want it there in a street car either, lowers effective octane. But I'll nod toward clean air.
