I am getting the ecoboost 2015. I know it is not a Cobra and does not have a Coyote engine
But I want the Cobra emblem. For one thing, my wife has a ridiculous snake phobia so it is a perfect way of making sure she does not drive my Mustang, Also, I love that song "Hey little Cobra"
When I go on line I find the emblems range in price from $12 to $200. I don't want to drill holes in the dash or the fender. Is there an emblem that stays in place with a magnet or something?

Here comes the Coyote

Sn95 cobra side emblems have adhesive backing but theres a pin on the back. But since its plastic, they can easily be cut off or broken off ao u dont have to drill anything. I imagine the newer cobra emblems are similar. But on a side note.... ew cobra emblems on a 4 banger! Lol. To each his own so no hate here :)

Please don't do this. It makes Mustang owners look bad, and you will get laughed at behind your back within the community.

Mustang owners don't do this. 90s Asian car owners with baby blue paint and fartcan exhausts used to do this. I don't think they even do it anymore :-) Don't deface your new car like a ricer.

If you want a Cobra or Coyote buy one. If you want a civic Type R or Si buy one don't be a poser. I got what I could afFORD and I'm not going to put any to say it something its not. On a lighter side you could just put a real snake in your car and I bet she wouldn't drive it no more lol j/k.

Quite honestly I don't think an inanimate object affixed to a car has anything to do with your wife having a phobia... if that was the case, why don't you buy a rubber snake or something..... to get the emblems and place it on a car that it isn't is quite a shame... seems like you are embarrassed in getting an ecoboost.... dont be but if that is the case... at least shell up some money and get a gt if it is image you are more concerned about.... all I ever see is these civics and other cars slapping on their r-type, s-line, nismo on cars that are just a base model with a whole lot of ground effects and ridiculous spoilers and exhaust. Don't be a poser and get what you really want.... leave the cobras and coyotes for those that REALLY have one

No dude! Big No to fake emblems. You want snake emblem on your car, you buy real Cobra.

Put whatever you want on your car. You're the one driving it. I dont think its any different than people putting Shelby Stripes on a GT or Bullit wheels on a V6. Both are very common. This whole "if you want a cobra, buy a cobra" mentality is stupid. So is the "this is what mustang people do/dont do".

You wouldnt be the first, btw. http://i.imgur.com/WTariRW.jpg

You can easily get a badge which you can affix with a double sided sticky tape. BUT, I agree with others that this is pretty cheesy. Do what you want, it's your car, but be prepared for others to loudly voice their opinions.

Do the EB have a pony fender badge or no fender badge?

How about a TURBO or TURBOCHARGED badge instead? I think it would look pretty cool on an EB. Put it on the front fender where the 5.0 or Cobra would be. Who knows I'd bet someone is going to come out with a 2.3 TURBO stick on badge for the fenders.

Just a thought. Do what you want to do but many will frown on your idea and as said be quite vocal about it.
