Looks good but how did you get the stock pony off? There must be a way to screw it on.. I mean I can't imagine double sided tape keeping it on through the elements. It's only a stop gap measure until I can get a full black billet grille with a Tribar on the drivers side of the grille

The stock pony is really hard to remove without breaking it. If I had some better tools I could get the nuts on the long studs on the back of the new pony. 2 months so far through a rough Pa winter and it's still tight in there. Once I get a chance I will screw it down.

If you remove the plastic radiator cover, you can get to the bolts that hold down the hood release mechanism. Then, if you temporarily zip tie the hood release out of the way, you'll have a much larger opening to reach in and get to the back of the pony. Be sure to mark where your hood release is located so you can put it back in the same position. I used masking tape.

The stock pony is held to the grille with one-way fasteners. It's impossible to remove them by trying to pull them off. The only way to do it is to bend the 4 plastic pins sideways until they break off. The fastener should come off attached to the pin. Then, they can be removed and reused.
