Hello
I have a stock 2015 mustang GT with 17k miles
I'm pretty sure my CMCV/IMCR is broken
Probably the shaft like usual
The car hesitate at low rpm and have p0300 p2004 p2008 check light

Now i'm pretty stuck with my decision

My current intake manifold can't be repaired.
Only thing I can do is lock out
What will be the cost for low end torque and engine efficacity?

I'm not interested in a 18 swap so if I want to solve the problem I have to buy another 2015 intake with working IMRC but if mine broken, the other one will broke someday too no?

What should I do?

Thank you

I'm actually in the exact same boat - after a hard driving session on sunday, my car gave me a P0308 solid MIL light...I am fairly certain it's the IMRC. I'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow to get the intake manifold replaced. ...
However, incidentally, I have a 2018 IM with IMRC lockout coming in the mail and a custom tune, i think that's going to be my long term solution to this problem.

I have a 2017 GT 5.0... at the track a couple of weeks ago, had the same P0300 error code when pushing the car. Mine is on 33k kms and has done a number of track days, plus tarmac rally's.

Diagnosed as failed manifold runner valves by the dealer. I understand not an uncommon failure, especially for those guys who drive their cars "enthusiastically"...

I'm actually replacing my mani with a gen 2 / 2019.

Locking out the iMRC and going on a new Lund Tune
