Installed the steeda clutch spring in my 2020 Bullitt. Made a big difference, much better than the factory spring.

Def worth it. So is getting a braided brake line along with an MGW shifter. Those three items will transform the shifting feel of your car and make you love driving it even more.

Hi xl_cheese! Thanks for your response, very helpful
Is this shifter a difficult install
Sure sounds and looks like a nice setup

I would recommend it for sure. The stock spring compression/decompression is strange, its hard to compress then easy to decompress making it awkward to have smooth starts. The steeda is generally heavier but at least its consistent.

I broke my spring perch installing mine though, beware. I ended up buying their upgraded spring perch because apparently many people end up breaking it.
Hi GrabberBargeCaptain! Thank you for the very informative feedback, much appreciated 👍
Can hardly wait to do this upgrade
I'll be ware of the spring perch
This is all new territory for me, having only worked on a 65 and a 94

One of the first mods I did. It's hard to describe but it makes you feel the pedal travel better.
Sorry I missed you there stannypack! I do very much appreciate all the great feedback on this
Ooops, as I mentioned in another post: old(er)! guy here hate to admit it

The Steeda spring is way lighter compression than the OEM spring. The OEM spring is like a heavy rate high compression kids dirt bike swing arm spring. Totally ridiculous!
Hi GregO! Thanks for your feedback and very funny comment
All you Mustangers are awesome folks 👍

I removed the spring completely and love it. Much better clutch feel overall, that spring is a joke and basically useless
