When I swapped transmissions I bled using the factory instructions and it worked fine. The toughest part was making up a rubber stopper to fit the master cylinder. When you pull a vacuum the air bubbles come out of the system. The vacuum helps the air rise because gasses expand with low pressure. When the gas expands the relative difference in density between the brake fluid and the gas increases. This helps the air bubbles to rise out of the system.

I have owned at least 10 Manual cars over the years. 2 things I really disliked about the GT350 was the clutch feel and the tram-lining. Neither is why I sold the car.

The clutch in the GT350 is like an on/off switch in my opinion. I tried the Steeda spring, and no spring. Both improved the feel but it still felt like an on/off switch. Worst clutch I have ever driven. It's a shame because the transmission and shifter are excellent. I doubt bleeding will help at all.

There is no bleeder on the slave built into throwout bearing.
It's too bad that they didn't include a bleeder in the throwout bearing.... On some earlier models of Tremec T6060's (mostly chevy's), had a bleeder..... you were able to install a remote speed clutch bleeder. A brief description:

Hinson Motorsports remote clutch speed bleeders turn a once difficult process into a simple one man job! Clearing your hydraulic system of trapped air takes only minutes with these braided stainless steel lines. Just attach the 4 ft. bleeder hose to your slave cylinder, and zip tie it permanently to any area you can easily reach. Then crack open the bleeder end fitting once when needed, and close it when the air is released from the clutch system.

Also, I was able to install a small dedicated reservoir for just the clutch fluid.
.. I didn't want to share the main reservoir above the master brake cylinder.

Really? Personally, I think that the clutch and transmission in GT350 is great..... Unlike the clutch and Tremec T6060 in previous Gen.5 Camaro SS... it felt as though you were driving a truck.

I said I liked the transmission and the shifter. I just despised the clutch feel:cheers:

No problem

Does the clutch in HC, feels that much different?
Yes, very different but not 100% better from the factory. Still much better to me than the GT350 clutch feel. The Hellcat clutch feels much more linear. The problem is the car comes with a Clutch Delay Valve (CDV). It's just a small piece of plastic with a very small hole in it. It was designed so you don't slam gears and break parts but it also causes more wear on the clutch. It's an hour job to remove it and since it's inside a hose, no one would ever know. Once that is done, the clutch is as good as it gets. I still needed a new shifter. Picked up a Barton as MGW does not make a shifter for the HC.

Interesting.... I've never heard of CDV before..... thanks for explaining it. It's amazing how manufacturers come up with things like this. Previously, my SS had a feature called 'Skip Shift'.... I had to disable it. Hated it.... the solenoid would force you to go from 1st. to 4th.... I guess Chevy felt that it would save gas.
BTW, the Barton set up looks great.

Most american manuals, aside from Ford, still use skip shift. The Hellcat has it. I guess it's the way I drive but it has never interfered with getting into 2nd for me so far. All other cars that had this, I had to get the skip shift eliminator.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
Yea my 2005 GTO had it. A simple plug and play skip shift eliminator took care of that for about 20 bucks.
