And you couldn't make the rear kick out? I'm confused.
Dat ass planted son. But I think you need to read my posts. It's not that I can't get the rear to swing around, it just requires going one step further, either mid corner carrying speed, a flick of the nose, or a clutch kick. Can't just power-on oversteer in this thing because it just sorts torque out so well.

I'm just wondering if clutch kicking is a bad idea. I'm relatively new to the technique and it's turning out to be really fun.

It may just be the crap roads in South Louisiana, but I've never had to make a major effort to make it walk out of a corner. I'm still seriously considering a hoon handle though :).

When I say more power, I mean one of these:

Too much traction will never be a problem again.

I dunno. I think it's kind of cool dealing wth absolute traction. I can legitimately feel the diff sorting out power between the wheels.

But I had a friend with me in the car and we've done some sideways hooning in the past, and I wanted to show him what it was like getting a small power slide out of a low speed corner and the car just hooked up. He was blown away by the traction. Depends on the roads like you said probably, but more often than not this car just goes. Ford did a great job of matching this engine's output to the chassis.

So yeah... I'd be happy with more power but not because I need it to go faster in a straight line lol. :D

Oh it definitely will. We had some cold temps not too long ago and my car was real skiddish on my morning commutes. You'll love the difference when it gets warmer. :)
I'm definitely ready for this warmer weather you speak of. Stupid cold weather around here plus all the crap that is still around on the roads makes for some interesting driving.
