Is anyone else noticing their pony kicking up rocks and debris under the car? I've just been hearing crap like dirt and rocks hitting under the car while driving and it's kind of worrisome. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It's probably just the new tires , that happened to me on my last car got all new potzena 're11 and first week or so they would pick up everything they came in contact with. Sounded like Iwas driving ona road full of pebbles

Ummm...cars do this when driving on roads that have rocks and dirt...

Nothing to do with tires, probably just you. Most likely you didn't listen to your car(s) like you do in the mustang so now you are hearing everything including rocks and pebbles.

Well I can't say that I've driven on a lot of roads that are exactly littered with rocks and debris. I guess what I was getting at is that it seems to be kicking up more stuff than usual on the same roads and that the sound is more noticeable (like it's just spraying crap against the metal). Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I have noticed the same thing. As stated earlier it is probably the summer only tires. Same roads in my other vehicles and they don't pick up as much junk. I'm hoping it lessens as the tires "break in". It just gets worse from this point on out around my area as they like to spread sand and cinder on the roads in the wintertime. Nothing like putting sandblasting shit material on the roads to blast the paint off your car as you drive. Road salt is bad enough but then they spread the cinder. I should send them a bill to repaint the areas behind the wheels on my GTO. Back to the tires though, I would think it would get a little better as the roads get colder (tires less "sticky") and the tires get broken in.

wind noise

When I lower my windows about 7 or 10 inches I hear wind noise. Should I be concerned about that. I'm also getting more outside noise in the car. LOL

Yeah I noticed this as well. Mainly that I can hear every little piece of debris as the wheels pick it up and fling it into the wheel wells (I hope). More worried about them flying up and hitting the paint!

Getting used to it now though...

This is a sign that you're used to driving cars with more sound deadening.

Try driving in a 911 GT3; it's nothing but pings and bangs and boings so loud you can't think.

I think it just louder in these cars than it was in previous MYs. The 1st couple days I had my car I drove mainly on some really nice roads and didnt notice so when I first heard it I thought a bolt or nut had fallen off something. But it seems normal now and doesnt bother me really.

The fatter the tire the more stuff it picks up, and mustangs have some pretty big sticky tires.

You should hear my old set up. Every plastic panel and sound deadening was pulled from behind the front seats. Probably only saved 20lbs but with a set of radials throwing up every speck of dust and hitting the bare tin metal... That was bad lol
