See this is how I love my cars, just off the floor the clutch starts to bite then I can just let off the clutch at about 60-70% and it not lurch or freak out. This car's clutch is like wait wait wait bite shudder bite goBase GT, mine is high too, about 70% from the top and it engages very fast. Steeda clutch spring helped a bit but it's still relatively vague feeling. You can't feel the "texture" at the friction point, just a smooth vague vibration. It's super dampened or something. Just a quirk of the car, you get used to it. Noticed most high HP cars have high friction points. My 2016 Miata had the weirdest clutch (to me) ever. Bite point was near the floor at about 20% travel and it wouldn't fully bite until about 80%. Super easy to drive but I didn't like it.
Cool, no spring helps but engagement point is still high. Probably the highest I've ever had.I took mine out at the dealership parking lot. I really wish the engagement point was lower, it's the most frustrating thing about the car IMO
Yep definitely the highest I've ever experienced. I'm almost at the point of getting the adjuster for it. After 2 years I really haven't felt any better about this clutch and it's engagement point.Cool, no spring helps but engagement point is still high. Probably the highest I've ever had.
