Is it happening from a standstill? You start rolling and then you hear (and maybe even feel) a "click" coming from the driver side rear?

I am having that problem in my 2018 GT, and from my research, it is a sticky wheel hub.

Check torque specs on everything back there.. it sounds like something came a little loose. I would do this ASAP.

I'm having the same problem on my 2022 GT from a standstill , a single click when backing up or going forward on an incline, but a just a single click . I have 10 K miles on the car, but it's been doing this almost since day one. I have not taken it to the dealership yet because they will probably say it's not reproducible , since it does not do it all the time.

If it is a sticky wheel hub is there anything I can do to fix it? Or should I just wait until it gets worse enough so it is reproducible and let the dealership take care of it. I'm really trying to not have to take it to the dealership.

I will have to let others respond who have successfully dealt with the clicking problem.. my car is still having this issue, I just haven't gotten around to looking at it since it is coldy-shivery-gonna-die-of-frostbite time at my house 🥶

A single click when moving the car could be the brake pads rocking in the calipers a little bit. It will generally only do that when you first set off or if you change from forwards to reverse (or vise versa) I've had that on other cars but not the Mustang so I can't help any further

It definitely could be that, for sure. My buddy had the same problem in his 2021 Mach 1 as well. Is it fixable?

On my old car back in the UK it would go away for a while after I'd removed the pads, cleaned everything up and re-greased the slideways and the ends of the pads so they could move a little smoother... but it always came back after a while.

I did change out my stock pads for Hawk DTC-60s and then it started doing it, so that is probably what's up. I will have to lube up the ends of the pads and see if that helps.

I really need to upgrade the rear calipers to the 4 piston Brembo's.. those 1 piston Akebonos really need to be put out to pasture.

That's quite an upgrade. $$$$$ it's no direct swap. the standard rear caliper includes the handbrake, the 4 brembo caliper doesn't so the hub, half shafts and various other bits all need to be replaced to give the drum handbrake inside the rotor.. I'd stick with the single piston one unless you have DEEP pockets.

My pockets are not so deep, so I guess I will be sticking with the 1 piston wonders! Boo on Ford!

you could just get the covers for them.... (I couldn't do that. so just ground the cast finish off them and painted them up nice to match the fronts)
Apologies to the OP for the HiJack

Well, it's the performance that I want.. I guess Ford never really expected Mustangs with a performance pack to be driven on track or they'd have made them better track cars... but I digress.

For the OP, hopefully you can find the torque specs that you need. One thing I suggest doing is using a silver grease marker to mark the nuts so that you can tell if any of them ever come loose again.

To me that sounds like a loose/worn suspension component. Probably not the Hub, I think it would make more noise while driving/turning etc. I supposed could be a caliper as well I have had it happen. Hard to tell without inspection.

On another note, would something like this be an awesome investment? Any of you tried it? Trying to find an annoying rattle inside and I feel like this would help pinpoint the sound location for OP? Any of you bought this or similar?

Edit: I don't think this one gets really good reviews. But Something similar with better quality would be nice.
