    Thanks for the Links!
  2. Ford safety recall letter

I received the same letter, but I'm not clear on how a software update to the PCM is going to fix the fuel pump issue. I have read other threads on this forum saying that the issue is in the fuel pump and / or venturi. And some members have replaced their fuel pump as a prevent measure for...
  3. Oil pan leak?

I have a 2022 GT with 24,000 miles and I noticed oil around a few of the oil pan bolts . I have been noticing this for a while and when I clean if up it returns so it's likely leaking from the oil pan. Has anyone in the Inland Empire / Riverside area had their oil pan gasket replaced by the...
  4. Trans oil change

Thanks for the info. I just looked up the pump on Amazon, but it states you can only extract not pump fluid back in. How where you able to pump back in? Did you just use the outlet as the inlet ?
  5. Trans oil change

I was thinking of doing the same things and suck out the fluid with a pump. I was looking at a couple of pumps on Amazon, which pump did you use ? And how did it work for you? Also how many quarts of fluid did you use ?
  6. Unusual message on infotainment dash

Sounds good! It's the first time I have seen that message which is odd because it's a relatively new battery and I put it on a trickle charger ( 1 amp) every couple weeks since I don't drive more than 30 minutes a day 4 days a week.
  7. Unusual message on infotainment dash

My battery is only a few months old. The car was at the body shop for 3 weeks so it was not driven, but I put it on a battery trickle charger when I got the car back . That was over a week ago . And everything was ok until today.
  8. Unusual message on infotainment dash

I went to start my car today and got this message. The car started ok and the message disappeared. I thought it was a one time thing , but it came back latter and the car started ok no issues. I checked the battery with a battery tester and it read "Good" and showed 75% charge. Any one have...
  9. hood struts?

I also have redlines and they lasted about 3 years. One of the struts started leaking and would no longer go up on it's won. I contacted Redline and they sent me a new pair since they where within the 4 year warranty period.
  10. Redline hood strut ?

I have had the Redline quick lift hood struts on my car for 3 years and a couple of weeks ago I noticed they were no longer lifting the hood. I had to push the hood up to open. I also noticed the driver side strut was leaking oil ( strange because they are suppose to be gas struts) , which...
  11. MCR PERFORMANCE IN RANCHO CUCAMONGA

I have not , but you might want to consider GTR high performance in Rancho Cucamonga. They are great and specialize in Mustangs. They installed an Edelbrock supercharger in my 2009 Bullitt and dyno tuned it and it ran great. They also replaced the clutch and some maintenance work on the...
  12. My Wengerd Experience

I noticed you are in California and you are years away from requiring an SMOG check I' m as well and was considering an E85 tune on my 2022 GT . What happens when it's time for SMOG check? If you go back to your stock tune do they check to see if you had a previous non CARB approved tune...
  13. Tree sap and heavy dirt.

The hot water trick works really well. Just dap a towel with hot water on the tree sap, but don't rub the sap as it will scratch the paint. Let the hot water do the job.
  14. Interesting oil consumption theory I hadn't heard

thanks. I have a 2022 GT with no catch can and N/A. The web site also shows p/n 5045-26 (adjustable PCV w/integral check valve). So which is the correct one for my application? So does that mean the 5045-24 works without a check valve. I believe the OEM PCV has a check valve. The website is kind...
  15. Centrifugal super charger

I also live in California and was thinking of an ESS . What are you going to do once smog check is due?
  16. Interesting oil consumption theory I hadn't heard

I looked for the 5045-24 part number on the UPR website, but it did not come up. Did you mean to say the P/n was 5045-01 ? That one is non adjustable will that work the same ?
  17. Clicking noise

Thanks that's the link . I'm still thinking it might be the brake pads mentioned earlier in this thread because of my low mileage . The thrust washer issue seems to be with older mustangs 2015 , 2016 from what I read in the link.
  18. Clicking noise

Yea I was thinking it could be the brake pads/calibers, because it kind of sounds like that, but with relatively low mileage I also thought it might be something else. I now remember some discussions on this forum of members saying that constant clicking when initially rolling forward or...
  19. Clicking noise

I'm having the same problem on my 2022 GT from a standstill , a single click when backing up or going forward on an incline, but a just a single click . I have 10 K miles on the car, but it's been doing this almost since day one. I have not taken it to the dealership yet because they will...
