I was just quoted 700-750$ for the front end, mirror housing, kick panels to be wrapped in a clear protective film.
honestly it is more than I expected, but my salesman has been great so it's hard for me to picture him lying about it.
Has anyone else got a price for this?

I wish I were paying that much. When you say front end, do you mean the entire hood, bumper and fenders?

I am paying $1700cdn to have the front bumper, entire hood, full front fenders, side mirrors and 8 inch strip above the windshield.

This is with xpel ultimate which is pricier than the 3m clear bra - though by how much, I am not sure. This is from the dealer.

Local shop wanted $1600.

The price does also depend on which brand that you're using.

#M is pretty good, but the X-Pel Ultimate is pretty pricey, but it's the Best out there now!

It's self healing too. You just need to treat a scratched film with some hot water. It's pretty Amazing stuff.

Here's a little video:

stupid questions but can you wax those bras to get a good shine or is it not necessary? For those looking for competitive prices/shop. Trying using yelp.

Local shop here quoted front end Bumper/hood and side fenders for $325 said it comes with a 10 year warranty? I've checked a few close to me and seems everyone of them has handsome complaint at some point seems a crap shoot to who you trust your new car with...

I paid $1125 for my 2013 Lexus - I had 18 in of hood, front bumper, headlights, mirrors, fenders done.

I would never pay for it again - you get chips in the clear bra and they turn opaque in color and it is very noticeable on the car. Also if you ever rub the front bumper on a parking curb or steep incline the bra rips of and dangles etc.

All in all it was very expensive and looked bad within a 6 month period.

You're covering a much larger area than the standard application, but you're also about a grand higher than I was quoted... top of the bumper fascia, 12" od the hood and front fenders, door edges, headlights, and mirrors.

Past experience dictates that doing the entire hood and bumper is required as a minimum. Your mileage may vary depending on the type of driving you do. I am at highway speeds for the bulk of my ride to and from work.

+1. I did (full) hood, bumper, headlights, mirros, rocker panels, front fenders, half A pillar, door sides/handles, rear quarter panel. ~$1100.

Tips -
Go with 3M. It's great stuff. They used Venture Shield (Owned by 3M) instead of the regular 3M on the hood as regular 3M doesnt come in as wide a roll (for my BMW M6).
If you do a panel, do the whole one, otherwise you will get ugly seams where dirt accumulates and possibly peeling.

My M6 clear bra is in pristine condition, 3 years later. I cant recommend it enough, the protections its given my paint is insane and its totally invisible (the craftsmanship of the shop I used is top notch). Only visible seam is halfway through the A pillar where it ends.

When birds poop, tree sap hits the car I am relieved knowing I wont have etching when I come back hours later from a meeting. Gravel trucks with open tops give me less heart ache. Hitting cones in Auto X? - not an issue, WD40 wipes the marks right off!!! All in all a great investment that pays for itself as I dont wash my car as often and treat it no differently than paint when it comes to waxing, washing etc).

This time around I am doing the full roof as well (black vinyl).

At my shop in the Seattle area I install XPEL ultimate film. Partial kits are $795 and Full coverage, meaning full hood, fenders bumper, headlights, side mirrors, fog lights are $1,725. Most dealers tend to sublet film out to installers. When they do that they usually aren't looking for the best film or the best installs, as much as looking for the best price so they can profit more. My recommendation is to look around and try not to purchase items such as film from dealers.

I'd argue if you're paying 1800-2000 for clear bra you might as well just repaint.
There's a price at which clear bra doesnt really make sense unless you are driving an investment future classic etc.
