I fully understand. If someone at my shop messes something up, and the customer needs a car, I will get that customer a rental car until the issue is fixed.

Thanks for your understanding. They have provided me with rides or a vehicle during the two installations. I was referring to when I get a paint job. My take is that in this smaller town or with smaller shops, they are not so accommodating. It's understandable because they don't have those means.

I might have to wait until I return to Chicago to get a paint job. I'll have another car to get around then. But that's not until 1.5 months. What do I do in the meantime with this installer? Tell him to wait until I find a person who can accommodate my logistics?

I'll look around in Lincoln, NE. Just adds to the work that I did not plan on having.

This is why my sign company is an LLC. If you do work on others property you need to have insurance to cover things of this nature. They shouldn't be too difficult with you because it's 100% there fault.

Excellent point! I'll mention that to them. They need to report this to their insurance. I hope I don't have to bring lawyers in to this. I know of lawyers in this town. Just don't know how much they will charge.
