After getting oil change I noticed my steering wheel was sticky from the guy who drove it out.cant figure out if I have leather or alcantra.i have 19 gt premium 401a option.i think cleaning process is different depending on material on wheel.there are several threads on cleaning alcantra.usually if it's leather is use lexol I think.any thoughts are appreciated.thanks

It's "glove leather." Use a leather cleaner/conditioner. Leather safe all purpose cleaners will work, too. Just condition it afterwards.

I use the lexol spray cleaner/condition in 1 on my front seats, steering wheel, and couches. It smells great and is pretty easy to use.

Alcantara looks like suede so it's not difficult to differentiate between it and leather. I always use some type of leather cleaner, and never anything else.

I also use Lexol Leather cleaner as well as Griots 3-1 Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. Apply product to a microfiber and then wipe down steering wheel.

Lexol works as well, but ran out, so I am finishing up my blue magic spray bottles of cleaner and also the conditioner for steering wheel. I had gunk on it once from going into dealership from service and the cleaner got the stuff off. had to wet a bit to break it down.
