I just ordered an ETS intercooler for my Ecoboost, while I'm upgrading the intercooler I am also considering getting the corresponding ETS piping kit. As I'm sure many of you know the kit comes with a choice of BOV flange. My understanding is that adding the BOV flange changes the stock BOV location and allows you to install a mechanical blow off valve, like the Turbosmart RacePort, but is not needed if you plan on keeping the stock BOV in the stock location - is this correct?

In the future if I wanted to install a direct plug-and-play replacement, like the Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port VR2 BOV It would still go in the original stock location since it is a direct plug and play option rather than a mechanically operated BOV, right?

Sorry if I sound a bit silly, I don't have much experience modifying on cars and I'm trying to avoid ordering incompatible parts. (I'm assuming I just need to order the kit with no BOV flange.) Thanks!
