Wild there be any major benefit. I wouldn't mind just t-ing a vacuum line to an hks bov on the hot side for the time being. I originally thought it was $360 for this kit but that doesn't Include the bov even though the page is advertised with it you have to select the option. Totals $590Would love to have one but they are soooooo expensive! Maybe I'm just cheap though
Can't you get that by putting a bov where the existing one is?Performance benefit? Minimal, mostly for the BOV sound.
I meant the question for benefit related to doing a new cold air charge pipe and relocating the bov from hot to coldThere are no power gains from a BOV. It changes the way the car builds boost and changes the sound as well. The stock valve stays open at strange time like constant speed cruising which a mechanical valve won't do. If you go big turbo an upgraded BOV is a requirement as the stock valve can't handle the added boost and volume from a big turbo.
Ahhh that is up to debate but really it's mostly personal preference. Some like the valve on the hot side... Others like it on the cold side. The difference between each option is minimal.I meant the question for benefit related to doing a new cold air charge pipe and relocating the bov from hot to cold
