My dealer ordered my 2016, but is saying I cannot make changes to the order now that it has been submitted? Is this true? I just wanted to add a spoiler delete

I added Navigation about a week after I placed my 2016 order with the dealer and received the DORA. At the time my dealer told me I was literally making the change on the last possible day I could. I don't know how true that is but at least you know you are not the only one who has heard something similar.

Yeah I just replied to them saying that I have read that I can make changes as long as I don't have a build date. And I obviously don't have that. I wanted to check with you guys to see if I was correct or not.

I think best thing to do is PM one of the CS rep from this site. They might be able to help you if it is not too late.

Yeah I PM'd Deysha, shouldn't be too late. No VIN or anything yet for 2016s, shouldn't be too late. I think they either don't know how to change the order or if they need to cancel and re-order it. Because I don't know if you can edit a order already placed or if they have to cancel and re-order.

If no VIN was assigned for your order, i say it is not too late. They can just cancel it and re-order.
I haven't had any VIN assigned for my car so far, and it's been 2 weeks.

Thanks, they made the change to my order. Thanks everyone. Guess they were being lazy and not wanting to actually do it or assumed it couldn't be changed.

They had to cancel and create a new order for me when I made a change to my order like 4 days later. I use the revised date in my signature as its a whole new order number.

Yeah I was worried about that. I talked to a dealer on another gourmand they said that Ford pulls orders on Thursday nights and today was the last day I could change my order. After tonight they would need to cancel the order most likely to change anything.
