Both door speakers were rotted with water damage like they were soaked. Do you guys think water is getting into the car from the doors? We had a slow steady rain (not hard) and I shop vac more than 6 gallons of water from driver side floor.

6 gallons of water??

GALLONS???

You'd be driving with 2"-3" of standing water in the car if there was 6 gallons of water on floor-boards.

Add you're asking if there's water getting in through the doors???

I'll give that question a solid "yes" based on the information at hand.

i dont think you could get 6 gallons of rain water in your car even if you left the windows down.

Convertible or coupe?
Convertibles in general are notorious for having drains clog. And they can get quite a bit of water in the floor boards.
With a coupe though, I'm having some trouble understanding how water getting into the doors to destroy the speakers is then getting into the cabin? I thought the doors have drains outside the rubber seals? I suspect we're not getting any where near enough information...

It is a convertible. I also think the water getting in somewhere else.
I did stick a small screwdriver in the 2 door drains they seemed ok. The stickers on door jamb are ok. The water is coming in low.

The windows roll up and not leaking. I am having trouble the weap hole near the back under convertible trim piece. I got a 3' piece of 1/4" all thread and probed still not finding the weap holes.
If I jack car up will I be able to see them from the bottom?
