It looks good under the hood but has no real benefit other than cosmetic.

What are you guys normally idling at? Vacuum??

I got one just as a precaution after reading the "blue smoke" thread and the general consensus that it's pressure in the crankcase that's causing the smoking issue. If the PCV system is operating correctly, the CFM breather acts just as a regular cap. However, if the PCV system doesn't keep the crankcase under vacuum, the CFM breather will release any pressure in the crankcase above atmospheric pressure.

My gauge shows the same but AP shows -8/-9 when car is warmed up.
