EDIT- This is pertaining to the CLOTH ceramic....

My all-time favorite look is the black/white premier leather. However, recently, on Ford's site I got a look at the ceramic interior. Looks interesting....two tone. But they only have one view and I can't tell if it's more of a darker gray on black or if it's lighter gray...kinda coming close to the creamy white of the premier.

I tried googling the ceramic and came up with the same overhead pics....nothing up close and detailed with any clarity.

Does anyone have any links or pics they could share of the ceramic? My local dealer doesn't have any with that interior.

Also, what is your experience with that interior? Harder to keep clean? Any other issues?

Thanks

The ceramic is very a light gray ... almost white. It probably would show dirt more than any other color option. But leather seats should be cleaned and conditioned a few times a year anyway to keep the leather in good shape.

It's not a light gray (maybe a putty type of color depending on how you see color), Ceramic is a good name for it.
It's an off white, think toward a light beige for someone that has not seen it.

I love it, it breaks up the black interior components and adds great contrast.
I have the leather and find it easy to clean.

I have the ceramic cloth interior (if anyone interested, I know you are talking about leather), i use scotchguard outdoor fabric shield spray. Coverd all my seats it helps keeping them clean. So far they look brand new, I highly recommend this product i did 2 layers of scotchguard took me about 3 spray cans.

The ceramic is closer to white with a hint or dark so it looks like a 'dirty' white from the factory, looks great in my book

I have Ceramic leather.

It's not white.

It's not gray.

It's a cream color - no tan, no beige.

It's really nice and I get compliments on it all the time. I don't have any issues with it as far as keeping it clean, or any wear/tear.

Only the faces of the rear seats and front seats are Ceramic, rest of the interior is black.

Its a white but not a pure white. Its got a yellow-ish color and its like the color of shredded fresh provolone.

Actually I believe you are the first to talk about the CLOTH and the cloth is what I was referring to. I didn't know they made a ceramic leather, so that's my fault for not specifying. I'll edit the OP.

Any way to snap some pics?

How is it with wear, stains (even with the scotchguard, etc.?

Thanks

If you're anal about keeping your interior spotless, this color is for you. It is not for you if you wear brand new pairs of blue jeans (indigo dye has washed off on it), or like to enjoy coffee or other non water beverages while driving...my salesman talked me out of ordering this on my new car

Well, I will be anal about this car. However, I'd really like to see some close up pics of the ceramic. But I'm taking it that it's not a very popular interior. So maybe ebony is the best way to go.

Ha! Could be.

But unlike that...the cloth ceramic must be a WILDLY unpopular option because the ONLY pic....PIC...of it is the overhead one from Ford. Plenty of pics of the leather ceramic from owners as well as all the other leather options. But, at least on google, none to be had of the ceramic cloth.

Kinda speaks for itself I guess.

After talking to a Koons dealer online today I was sent this link to a ceramic interior...

http://inventory.koonssterlingford.com/web/new/Ford-Mustang-2016-Sterling-Virginia/30370169/

In the pics I LOVE how it looks. However, my main concern is keeping it looking clean.

I do my own work and I just just imagine getting in the car with some grease on my arms or ass and it ends up on the seat....not sure I want to rely on scotchguard to protect against such a thing.

But wow, sure does look nice!!

If you're getting the cloth, then treat it with some Scotch-Guard as suggested above and try not to get in it all dirty.
