I ordered it, fingers crossed...

Well, the thing is, new jeans may stain your couch as well, if it is light colored :-) I debated whether or not to get it... it just looks cool, especially with the Race Red. Will see when I get the car. I will be the only one driving the car, no small creatures, human or otherwise, this will not be a daily driver, so what the heck! It will take some extra care, but that's alright. "I likes my preciouuusss":D

GO ceramic!

I have the ceramic, almost 2 months now, and no staining issue. Still looks brand new. I wear jeans frequently, as does my son who I take to school every day. I've used Opticare Leather Cleaner/Protector on the seats a couple of times, so maybe that is helping to prevent staining.
Good to know... I ordered mine with the ceramic and sometimes I regret it, but mostly that is the way I want it:D. Race Red and ceramic/white inside! plus, there will be very few of these on the road.

I was going to order it with my DIB car, but my salesman dissuaded me from ordering it (due to other customers' bad experiences with it). In retrospect, glad he talked me out of it ;) I really wish Ford offered tan as an interior color option in the 'stang (in both cloth and leather). Far less sensitive to staining than a shade of white.

I am SO glad I went with ceramic. The upkeep is minimal and it looks so much better than standard black

Thanks for the photo, man, it does look super sharp! Well, "fortis Fortuna adiuvat", and all that sort of thing:) It is a bold choice, but I wanted something different from anything I have ever had in terms of cars (mostly boring daily commuters, with the exception of my beloved Special Edition Miata).

I have been reading on leather products and will get a few. I am also going to tint the windows, may even spring for the 3M Crystalline tint that cuts on infrared as well (at twice as many bills...) And while at home it will be in the garage...A garage Queen! :hail:

Some people say to run a damp cloth each week over the leather. Do you do that?

I have not done just the damp cloth thing yet. I use Lexol on it, but I am still in the honeymoon phase so nothing but the best for my baby

More power to ya. Mine will be my daily commuter, had too many close calls with coffee and my kid in my other cars to even risk it with this one ;)

Hehehe, have you even asked your insurance agent what it would cost to add teenagers onto a V8 'stang policy?

Damn - forgot about this thread!! Lol!

Anyhow, in December 2015, we purchased my 2016 EB Premium w/Perf Pack and wanted Ruby Red with Ceramic interior - got it in leather.

It's super nice, I have almost 4K miles on it and there's been no issues at all with the Ceramic leather seats (seating surface).

I have not seen another S550 in my area with Ceramic interior (cloth or leather) and we had a very hard time trying to get what I wanted as far as other options PLUS the Ceramic interior... I'm only assuming it's a rare interior color choice compared to the other interior colors available (with black being the most common).

Everyone who has seen the interior in person really likes it and says it looks great and sets off the interior with the two-tone appearance.

Maybe it is "rare" because most people are afraid of the color due to fears that it will get dirty, or they just like black. I hear that even the dealerships sometimes discourage. In fact, when I got a copy of the DORA, there was a not there saying "encourage buyer to get a darker color". No kidding!

Glad to know yours is holding up nicely. Post some photos if you get a chance. I ordered the Race Red, so we will see. I am a bit concerned, but am glad to know a few other brave folks out there have taken the same path!
