I have tracked my 2017 350R (has 9k Miles) for about 7 months without any issues. The last 2 events I occasionally had the CEL come on during a run. When I pull the codes after the session, it says P0022, p0025 and p0030 but have noticed no decline in performance as it happened. Here is where it gets odd...If the car sits awhile, the CEL goes away. Then the next session it comes on again after 3-4 laps. This weekend, I actually began to feel some performance issues as the car felt like it had a slight hesitation and would not get up and go like normal, so I quit altogether. Took it to dealer today and they said not only can't they duplicate the issue, there is no indication in the computer history of those codes ever being thrown. Anyone have any insights/similar occurrence? Thanks for your help!

Hmmm....if you were getting one of them, I would suggest a bad/crimped wire in the harness. I know of at least 5 cars that have had this issue. But since you're getting a couple different ones, could be something else. I'd start by checking ground connections. There's 2 on the passenger strut tower, one on the passenger engine mount, and a third on the front engine cover (top right of the passenger-side head).

If all those look good, I'd check the harness for bad connections. Easiest way is to start the car and jiggle the crap out of the wires going into the plugs and see if the engine starts to freak out (rough idle)

Thank you. Great ideas to start trying to figure this out. So frustrating! Appreciate it!

I had a very similar issue, and Mr. Badger was right on with the problem. I bought 4 new cam actuators and an engine wiring harness to guarantee the problem was fixed, and it turned out to be the connector for the cam actuator on the drivers side behind the air box. The OEM harness has a really poor design on that specific connector, with a snug downward “pull.”

I ended up extending the factory harness for a more reliable routing and splicing in a new OEM connector.

When I was having starter issues, they couldn't find out the problem. They were going to let me take home their diagnostic laptop to record everything. Fortunately they were able to just replace the starter and I didn't have to go through any more troubleshooting.

Maybe you can ask them if they'll let you take one of their diag laptops home?
