I was sched with dealer for the oil line recall, anyway, so I was headed in the right direction. Ironically enough 1 day before I have to bring it in I get the CEL light. They called me today, it was something with the thermostat. I also had a broken hazard toggle switch. So I guess as of this point all minor stuff. I will update post when I find out exactly what "something with the thermostat is". Ford was telling them to hot cold cycle the engine to reset it or something. The dealer has been really nice and they said they will keep my car inside over night, and hopefully finish it up tomorrow. I am in no rush, not a daily.
When I pick it up I am also going to ask a technician to show me "how to read a dipstick" LOL. 56 years old and I cannot read a freaking dipstick. If I put it in with the crosshatch marks to the right it seems to come out w oil at the right place. It is a joke. I don't want to rev a motor to 8K w/o know I have enough oil.
BTW - on the topic of oil.
Can someone tell the catch can setup I need to order.
