Honestly its best to just wait until they post info, im sure they aren't just focused on their turbo upgrade for the EB. lots of posts about wheres the info at isn't going to have them run to the forum to give us an update.

But from the consumer side they should have just waited and made a thread when the product was ready like that other upgrade that just came out did, they didn't post til they had all the info ready to be put up front. Its like im going to tell you a great joke then wait til months later to give you the punch line

Guys, I understand you want all the info on the turbo. We are working as hard as we can to get this for everyone involved. We are a shop working on customer cars and our own shop car. Unfortunately we had some major issues at the shop arise when we came back from SEMA and they have been our #1 priority. Trust me we will have numbers shortly.

Demanding is not going to help any. We are hard at it and this will be the best bolt on turbo around I am certain of it. This will be a easy 400/400 turbo with intercooler, intake, and exhaust.

There is a lot of money and time in this project to make sure it is perfect. Trust me no one has gone through as much work as Cavalli and RIP Tuning have to bring you the best bolt on to the stock head turbo. It will be available shortly.

Coming from the ST world as of late, our BT upgrade was right around 2k -/+ with many different options. This 2.3 is really not too much different from the 2.0 in the focus ST so I really cringe when I see price of $3k, $4k and $5k from other companies. If I go with a completely new turbo (not hybrid ) I would really like something that keep the twin scroll design such as what cpe is offering soon but the price tag again, just make me cringe.

RIP, you need to get the testing done or get the turbo to someone that can get it done in a timely manner. You have had the turbo in hand for what, 4 weeks now....

I've been in contact with Cavalli for months. They had 4 exh housings Cast for testing, only 1 was usable as the others had casting flaws, and you have it.
Cavalli needs the testing info before they will order more exhaust housing (Exh. housing take 6-8 weeks to get cast)

So please make time to at least get part of it done to prove it will work ,so Cavalli will order more housings, or pass the turbo on to a tuner that will....

Since November we have been through several revisions of the turbo with Cavalli to make sure we bring the highest quality to Mustang 6G. I am attaching a data log for you guys to look at. I should have the car on the dyno by the end of the week for some numbers. Will definitely have some videos after this weekend.

Until then I will share the exciting news we have with this turbo. First look at the charge temps drop through the pull. The turbo is very efficient. Spool is responsive and the power carries all the way to redline. This will be a direct bolt on 400 hp pump gas option and we will get to see how far it goes on race fuel.

Price was discussed a few pages back IIRC. I'm looking at one as a future upgrade option.

Ok, Guys sorry for the delay. With all that was going on at the shop with SEMA coming up I could not find any time to spend with my Ecoboost car and the Cavalli turbo. Now that things are wrapping up I will have time to test the turbo.

There are some neat things going on with this turbo. Chris @ Cavalli told me they will do a 7/14 wheel upgrade on your current turbo for $695. Which I know some of you are looking into. For this service please call 1-855-50TURBO

The turbo I have been working with them on which is a entirely new turbo front to back, and no one has spent the time and capital to produce a turbo of this quality for the Ecoboost Mustang. It will be priced at $1829 for the 2.5 inch inlet and $1899 for the 3 inch anti surge inlet. This is a triple ball bearing, billet wheel, full replacement turbo, with a 18 month warranty. It also comes with a turbo smart actuator. We are currently testing the 55/56 and will test larger options here shortly.

These are direct bolt on turbos and your current exhaust and intake will bolt up. NO extra parts needed to purchase for this turbo upgrade!!!!

Thanks for the update, this looks promising with a nice price tag also. Would this turbo be fun for a DD?

I think the price went up, BGolden also posted thias back in October

"The price point on the turbo is $2199. It will include a Turbosmart actuator, Billet compressor wheel, triple ball bearing, and a 18 month warranty. The turbo bolts on to any stock turbo location parts: Exhaust, intake, charge pipes, etc. We will have a kit built around the Cavalli turbo and will bolt on in a day. The turbos are expected to be available in September."

Guess we will have to wait and see what the actual price is.

Yes, very fun for a daily. Right now we are at 460 trq/ 400 hp at 24 psi. Working through a couple items in the tune and should have some good numbers by the end of the week. I have to tune customers cars this afternoon so the ecoboost has to come of the dyno for a bit.
