I didn't expect this. Now I have to wait for the roads to dry before I can go top up the gas tank and head to the storage facility. Oh well, we just got the car a few weeks ago and we were trying to stretch the season as long as we could. You can't blame us for loving our Mustang can you?

You need to oil spray and just drive it. I’m in the west end of Toronto and the last months I missed driving top down were January and February of 2022. Before that I don’t remember, probably in 2019.

I remember legends of the white stuff in south Texas. We were told these stories as myths and legends. Never did we anticipate the horror when it fell in South Texas. We were grateful for only about a half inch of the crazy weather phenomenon, but it still shut down schools and businesses. People were paralyzed in their homes. Unable to comprehend the freezing temperatures and fearful of what the snow might do to them. They just stood in their houses staring out the window hoping they had enough food and water to make it through.

The next day it was gone and we were fine.

My brother and my sister-in-law drove down one year to visit her relatives in TN. He was driving a ā€˜73 Vega GT on ā€œwide ovalsā€ at the time. They’d been driving on a dusting of snow and somewhere along the way they came upon a bunch of flashing lights and state troopers. The trooper he spoke to advised they were suggesting, but not forcing, people off the highway as it was such a mess. My brother just replied they were from Canada and would continue on. Of course, he didn’t have any issues but saw many that did. I think he said the deepest parts were like an inch deep.

On the other hand, we had an early snow the other weekend and the OPP reported something like 340 collisions around the GTA, and that would only be on the highways as they don’t patrol local roads in Toronto.

lol, ah yes…the great blizzard of 2025, I mean how do people even survive in such austere conditions such as this? (Note the sign in Panama city beach)

Don’t mash the gas and you’re fine. This photo was a decent snow we got last year, like 2’ if I remember right. Proper tires and common sense is all you need.

I got the Stabil in and tanks topped just in time. Still have to get the battery tenders, get them off the ground, and covers on.
The wife's '19 is on Continental Extreme DWS06. Mine is on Nitto 555G2's. I do NOT want to see how they would do in the snow. Hers saw snow once with the OE Pirelli's on it. Neither car has seen salt.
