Caught couple checking out my GT

My wife and I came out of a grocery store this afternoon. There was a younger couple (I'm 55, wife 44) standing closely and walking around my GT. They were not touching anything.

I hit the remote start to see what would happen. They kind of jump and started walking away really fast. They walked over to a 2015 Black GT and got in and started up.

Their GT was a PP and mine is a 50th Deep Impact Blue. I could tell they had a manual as they started my direction. My wife and I were in my car as they rode by very, very slowly. Their heads were turned watching us.

Mine has the temp tag on it as it is 6 days old.

That is the first one I've come in close contact with since I got mine. It was fun watching them look at mine. They obviously meant no harm ---- just a fellow 'Stang GT owner.

But it is nice knowing that my Blue GT 50th turns the heads of other 2015 Mustang owners.

I'd have stopped to chat with them though. Mustang folks, here in the UK at least, are usually nice people and I've made a load of great friends just through driving the same car

Indeed, Mustang people should communicate with each other. always nice to talk and learn from other people.

Well, yeah! You probably scared the shit out of them when you pressed the remote start lol. Next time, maybe just creep up and say, "hey, nice car."

Earlier in the day, I had a co-worker tell me that he had taken pictures of my car. He said it looked so good that he wanted show he son who is a Mustang fan.

Corvette peeps have it and I miss that about those cars. It's just about Passionate car people giving each other some acknowledgement about the cars we enjoy.

Why not just walk up and say hello? I think most folks would move on if they were admiring a car and then someone remote-started it. "Get off my lawn!". ;)

Thinking about it tonight, I would have done it differently and waited to try to have a conversation. I bet it would have been fun talk.....at least for me and the guy, my wife and the other lady may have gotten bored!

^^^ Yep, I definitely would have wanted to talk to them once seeing they also had a new GT. I'm surprised they didn't stop on their way past you two when they saw it was your car.
